Job Details

Route Drivers must develop strong relationships with store personnel, and they must be motivated toward in-store merchandising and point of sale items.

Daily they are expected to: deliver products, complete & rotate and account inventory, complete invoices, clean machines, and replace promotional materials. Route Drivers will work with minimal supervision and must attend weekly meetings held at their Center.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for loading & unloading vehicle to ensure inventory for delivery prepared for daily route.

· Ensure to complete inventory count at the end of shift

· Complete scheduled deliveries assigned and ensure prompt delivery of products.

· Discuss with store personnel about new product to be left and inform them of new promotional items.

· Ensure proper training of equipment is discussed with any store personnel not familiar with operation

· Clean machines, replenish stock of cups, lids, straws

· Get invoice stamped with store stamp

· Complete daily recap on route envelope for supervisor.

· Complete weekly vehicle checks

SKILLS

· Must be self-motivated – Needs no supervision

· Must have enthusiasm & motivation toward in-store merchandising

· Possess strong interpersonal skills

· Excellent organization & time management skills

· Must be self-starter & accomplish tasks in a timely manner

· Great oral and written communication skills.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· Drivers need to be at least 21 years of age

· Minimum of 2 years Customer Service and/or Route Driving experience

· Valid driver’s license – MUST HAVE

· Ability to lift heavy items – Occasional lifting 70 lbs

· Ability to drive more than 40% of the time

· Must have steel-toes shoes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
