Data Analyst – Salary $90k – $110k + Bonus + 100% Fully Paid Family Healthcare – Columbia, MD Area
Our client, one of the most successful Insurance companies in the region, has a need for a Data Analyst to join their energetic team. The Analyst will be heavily involved in leveraging data and communicate findings to the team in helping to create data-backed business decisions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Document structures and types of business data.
- Design processes and tools to allow data to be more accurate and more accessible.
- Analyze data using statistical methods.
- Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Create reports to share your findings and recommendations with the internal team and other stakeholders.
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases.
- Analyze business metrics and logic to submit suggestions for continuous improvements.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or related job experience
- At least 3+ years of experience in statistics, data or analytical processes
- Experience with advanced SQL knowledge is a must
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools
- Very personable, able to interact with a diverse level of staff and personalities
Compensation will be within the $90k-$110k range, plus a very reliable annual bonus, and one of the best healthcare packages in the business, with fully paid family healthcare.
