Under the direction of the Plant Manager, this position accepts saleable donations and refused non-saleable donations/trash, sorts the donations by type and loads them in the Donation trailer in a manner that ensures safety to personnel as well as donations. Maintains donation area in a neat and well organized manner. Assists customers with donations in a professional, timely and courteous manner. Issues tax receipts to donors. Will be working outdoors in the heat and cold.
Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Knowledge of Customer Service.
- Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a 2nd grade level.
- Ability to sort and load a trailer in a safe and secure manner.
- Maintain a professional and pleasant attitude in dealing with customers, clients, and co-workers.
