NYS licensed childcare center seeks reliable, nurturing, and energetic teacher for an established Day Care and Preschool program.
Hourly position, 30-40 hours per week, exact schedule may vary from week to week but will be between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday through Friday.
Required qualifications:
a) 9 college credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field and two years experience caring for children. Candidates at this level of experience must have a plan to study for an Infant/Toddler Childhood Development Associate (CDA) Credential or Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development.
OR
b) Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and one year experience caring for children
OR
c) Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development or related field.
Must have or be willing to obtain:
*Medical Clearance
*NYS background check (including fingerprinting)
*Pediatric CPR and Pediatric First Aid training
*References: one employment, two personal non-family.
Wages: $14.81 per hour.
Financial assistance available for successful candidate at qualification level a) to complete infant/toddler CDA and earn promotion and pay increase (terms and conditions apply).
