Job Description:

This position is for a fully licensed therapist (LMHC or LMFT) who will work in an integrative clinic alongside medical staff to provide ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP). As a psychotherapist at Northwest Ketamine Clinics you will hold responsibility for a modest caseload of patients being seen in an intensive outpatient-like program. Psychedelic assisted therapies, like KAP, are a growing field with incredible potential. We are looking for a psychotherapist who is willing to take on the significant responsibility of working within a developing field, who has a passion for this line of work, and who can form meaningful connections with a wide variety of patients.

In this role you will work closely with your patients as they move through our treatment program that includes an initial evaluation, preparation for infusions, the infusions themselves, and subsequent integration therapy sessions. Given the nature of this work, it is essential that applicants have a strong understanding of trauma, depression, anxiety, and other related disorders. You will also be responsible for some administrative tasks (progress notes, external coordination of care, collaboration with medical staff, etc.), but will not be responsible for billing or scheduling. Given the newness of the field, you are also expected to be comfortable navigating research databases and self-driven to continue ongoing independent research.

The KAP program here at Northwest Ketamine Clinics operates from a holistic approach that places a focus on treating the whole person which at times may require spiritual or mystical discussions. An ideal candidate would be able to consider multiple treatment approaches for any given patient, and tailor treatment to meet the unique needs of each individual. Our program is modeled after the MAPS MDMA Protocol with additional guidance taken from both the KRIYA and ASKP3 organizations that are considered leaders within the ketamine field. We operate from a psychedelic rather than psycholytic approach and hold strong reverence for each individual’s Inner Healing Intelligence. We openly welcome all patients as they are irreguardless of sexual expression, gender identity, cultural background, etc. and take an active role in supporting what wellness means for them.

Northwest Ketamine Clinics offers a very competitive salary including paid vacation, sick, and holiday time, medical benefits (health, dental, vision), 401K matching. (Some benefits are not available for per diem or PT positions.) Pay is DOE.
