Manages all payroll related functions. Processes payroll by verifying the accuracy of employee timecards and making changes when required. Prepares payroll reports and monitors payroll budget.
Manages all accounts payable functions. Checks invoices for accuracy, including identification and tracking of unusual transactions. Balances and posts purchase orders, reconciles statements, and prepares and prints checks.
Manages personnel/human resources-related functions. Administers and supports tasks related to medical leave management and requests such as Family and Medical Leave, workers’ compensation, reasonable accommodations, light duty, etc. Assists new and terminating employees with paperwork.
Advises and interprets human resource policies and procedures. Manages the performance appraisal process.
Coordinates the recruitment and selection process for procuring new personnel. Administers, coordinates, and develops testing instruments. Assists in interviewing potential employees and drafts interview questions.
Provides advice and assistance to supervisors and employees regarding personnel guidelines and policies and procedures. Assists command staff with the research, preparation, maintenance, and dissemination of policies.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to multi task is required.
Required Education and Experience:
Equivalent to an Associates degree in accounting, human resources, or a related field. High school diploma (or GED equivalent)
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in human resources administration
Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities

Pay: $68,800.00 – $75,000.00 per year
