B.A.T.S. is looking for Traffic Control Apprentices!

We serve the needs of varied industries and are focused on maintaining a safe work environment for customers, our employees and the general public. We focus on traffic safety, so our customers can focus on their work. We are one of the largest traffic control companies in Northern California with the ability to provide our customers with a one stop solution for traffic control services wherever they work.
POSITION SUMMARY
B.A.T.S. is seeking motivated, energetic, fast learning Traffic Control Apprentices. The Traffic Control Apprentice is an entry level position that assists the Traffic Control Lead in the following areas: Traffic Control setups and device installations, Pedestrian Control, Flagging and Traffic Direction.
POSITION DUTIES:
- Customer Service
- Flagging
- Traffic Device Installation
- Traffic Plan Review
- Pedestrian Control
- Driving and Equipment Towing
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Can lift up to 50lbs
- A current member of the Local Laborers Union (LIUNA) Apprenticeship Program preferred but not required
- Good customer service and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Must read/write in English
- Bi-lingual preferred but not required
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
- Flexible Schedule a must
- Clean driving record preferred
- Valid Driver’s License Required
- Experience driving pickup trucks required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current Flagging Certification preferred but not required
