Laundry Staff/Housekeeper Night Shift – Holbrook Healthcare Center – Buckhannon, WV

Holbrook Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for full time Laundry Staff/Housekeeper to join our team.

The Laundry/Housekeeping position exists to provide routine support in the environmental services of residents, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained at all times. This position must work effectively with team members in ensuring that work is accomplished in a timely, effective, well organized and safe manner, while focusing on delivering quality resident care.

We have the following opening:

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Performing basic Laundry Duties

• Cleaning and sanitizing all areas on a regular basis in Laundry Area

• Sweeping and mopping as required in Laundry Area

• Trash removal If needed

• Following daily Laundry duties as assigned including personal and regular facility laundry

• Maintaining and organizing Laundry when cleaned and folded

• Annual stripping and waxing of room

• Other duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to move (sit, stand, bend, lift) intermittently throughout the work day.

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.

• Prior Laundry experience in healthcare environment is strongly preferred.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent

• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
