The Role:

Senior Associates with our Valuation practice serve as members of various client service teams. Senior Associates must have strong technical knowledge of valuations of closely held companies, intangible assets, debt instruments, and other assets for tax and financial statement reporting, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and other purposes.

Senior Associates can expect to:

  • Perform company, industry and market research to identify client solutions;
  • Produce spreadsheet models;
  • Perform financial analysis;
  • Write Reports;
  • Manage data inventory;
  • Assist in project management;
  • Supervise, train, and mentor Associates and Interns; and
  • Receive formal training related to Valuation, on the job training, direct feedback from industry leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources.

The Requirements:

  • 2+ years Valuation experience;
  • Bachelor’s and/or relevant advanced degree

    • Accounting, Finance, Economics or another field that would provide a strong background for qualitative and quantitative reasoning (Preferred)

    • Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Desire to obtain advanced credential (i.e. ASA, CFA, or ABV)
  • Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; and

  • Proficient use of technology
