About us
Mountainside Animal Hospital is a brand new, privately owned practice in the beautiful city of Maple Valley, WA opening in early September 2021. Our doctors bring with them over 25 combined years of veterinary excellence. Our primary focus is on pet wellness, with an emphasis on dentistry.

As a Veterinary Professional, you already have a pretty good idea as to the day-to-day requirements of being a talented employee. Here are some of the key skills that we are seeking that are particularly relevant to this opportunity:
- Displays competency and the general knowledge to educate pet owners in the importance of preventative, wellness and dentistry
- Compassion and sensitivity: Ability to be sensitive to an ill pet, as well as its concerned owner.
- Customer service skills: Ability to provide friendly, efficient service to patients in-person, as well as on the phone.
- Interpersonal skills: Ability to feel comfortable dealing with patients, staff, and others.
- Technology skills: Ability to operate office technology such as computers, fax machines, and copiers.
- Mental and physical stamina: Ability to stay calm when handling a nervous, defensive animal.
- Organizational skills: Ability to manage office operations such as taking messages, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient files.

Anything you need is either within town or a short commute away. Some of the major employers of area residents include Boeing, Amazon, Expedia, Adobe, Microsoft, and Starbucks. Interstates 5 and 90 are easily accessible along with State Route 18.

Must currently have the right to work in the United States.
Minimum of two years experience in a veterinary clinic is required.
