Responsible for patient care delivery which promotes the safety and well being of all patients within the system. Facilitates optimal patient appropriate resource utilization. Builds and maintains strategic relationships. Participates and contributes to high performing care delivery teams. Manages conflict and competing imperatives. Builds customer loyalty among physicians, employees and community. Possesses requisite level of technical and professional knowledge in Nursing.

Requires knowledge of Federal and State regulatory agency standards related to health care organizations. Cognitive and technical knowledge and ability to progressively manage care delivery across the continuum of care. The ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information both verbally and in writing required; Must be flexible with work scheduling. Involves discretion and independent action within prescribed limits.

• 
  Associates Degree; Bachelors Degree Preferred
• Current Texas Nursing License
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the Emergency Room
