We’re currently seeking a talented structural engineer to join our team at Degenkolb. We’re hiring at the Design Engineer level in our San Francisco and Oakland offices.

Core Responsibilities
:

  • perform detailed structural calculations
  • work independently with limited direction
  • provide direction to junior technical staff and BIM/CAD specialists
  • collaborate effectively with external clients

The requirements for Design Engineer are:

  • Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering with 3 to 5+ years of professional experience in structural/seismic engineering
  • California Civil Engineering license (PE) required
  • Demonstrated ability to perform core duties described above
  • Active participation in professional activities related to structural or earthquake engineering is a plus
