Ziggy’s is the home improvement price and service leader in the Inland Northwest, with six retail locations. We are a locally grown lumber company that was founded in 1965 with the goal of serving Spokane and North Idaho home builders with their lumber needs. We have thrived over the years by adding additional departments which encompasses the entire home improvement or building project and provides products and services to the largest of contractors on down to a do-it-yourself home project. Our Sales Associates are an integral part of our success and we strive to get the best in the business!
Sales Associates Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers, both in person and by phone, answering their questions, helping them find merchandise and suggesting add-on sales that will help them complete their project.
Create an inviting environment for customers by maintaining a clean and orderly salesfloor, including housekeeping tasks.
Notify customers of upcoming promotions and new products
Assist customers in loading customers vehicles as needed
Merchandise products according to prescribed planograms and help maintain signage
Restock shelves as necessary
Assist in taking regular inventory
Face and front products throughout the store at the beginning and end of each shift, and as time permits throughout the day

Sales Associate Qualifications: *
Outstanding customer service skills and a professional attitude
A working knowledge of the products contained in the store and a willingness to continue to learn
Must be organized, self-starter who thinks independently and solves problems
Knowledge of effective sales methods and techniques
Strong math, reading, writing and communication skills
Prior knowledge of point-of-sale systems helpful
