Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)/Behavior Technician – Connecticut Behavioral Health – Norwich, CT

Seeking Registered Behavior Technicians/Behavior Technicians to work in schools and/or in homes working one on one with children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other emotional/behavioral needs. Technician staff will support the implementation of a behavior plan to assist the individual with learning new skills, managing emotions, and managing unproductive behaviors. Technicians are supervised by a BCBA or clinician who develops the plan and trains the technician how to implement the plan and collect data. Experience working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders and emotional and behavioral needs is desired. In Home positions are anywhere from 10-35hours per week. School positions are 32.5-35 hours/week during the school year and 16-20 hours per week during Summer School. Opportunity to work in multiple positions to increase overall weekly hours if desired. PMT certification preferred. Highly competitive compensation ($17-$23/hr dependent on experience). Depending on the location of the position a travel stipend may be available.
