This position is a 9-month, full-time, faculty position with teaching responsibilities related to classroom and clinical instruction, primarily in medical-surgical nursing, although other specialties will be considered.
Requirements include recent clinical experience in the specialty area, an MSN degree with academic preparation in the specialty area, and an unencumbered license as a registered professional nurse in the state of WV or eligibility for this license. Teaching experience and a doctoral degree in nursing or progress toward the doctorate in nursing are preferred.
The successful candidate must have excellent skills in anticipating and implementing curricular change and the ability to work collaboratively in teams. A faculty member is expected to participate in continuous improvement in the areas of teaching, professional development, and service to the University and community. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. This position includes a comprehensive benefit package. Anticipated starting date is January 2022.
