Dental Operations Manager – Start Smiling Chicago – Oakbrook Terrace, IL

Start Smiling Dental Implant Centers is looking for a highly motivated, business savvy operations manager experienced in successfully and profitably operating a fast-paced, cutting-edge oral surgery center. Ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of successfully building dynamic clinical and administrative teams, overseeing exceptional patient care programs, and growing organizations in size, locations and profitability. Exceptional communication skills, agile business sense, and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams all a must.

Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Achieving clinical, revenue, and profitability objectives through a respectful, action-oriented, and motivational style.
  • Act as a liaison between patients/team members and CDMO, relaying any clinical, operational or other issues these groups may have
  • Continuous assessment of all staffing needs and providing support for clinic with effective recruitment
  • Providing training and development support to ensure all office staff demonstrates knowledge of operating procedures and protocols
  • Supporting daily office operations
  • Responding to clinical and operational concerns timely and effectively. Be accessible and responsive.
  • Lead by example. Willing to take on any job necessary to benefit the practice and the team
  • Supporting the achievement of performance targets and budgeted goals.
  • Provide outstanding leadership and implement training and cross-training to strengthen service offerings. You will be responsible for developing a high level of excellence with the administrative and operations staff
  • Drive a strong culture and environment that will support and enable all team members to be successful, accountable and growth-oriented while ensuring superior patient treatment outcomes.
  • Foster accountability, teamwork and mutual trust and respect for all team members through mentoring and coaching activities.
  • Must have a passion for exceptional patient service, experience and satisfaction.
  • Proven ability to improve clinical and business processes, methods, quality, and decision-making to achieve meaningful, measurable improvements and profitable growth.
  • Profit and loss responsibility with the ability to interpret and act upon financial statements.
  • Ability to demonstrate nimble business thinking and execute real-time strategy pivots
  • Proficiency in effective communication with clinic owner, team members and patients; ensuring all are respected, feel understood and leave exchanges feeling empowered and as if all issues are resolved

Experience/Education:

  • Several years of experience in management in dental, healthcare, retail, pharmaceutical or other related industry, focused on practitioners, clinical team members or patients
  • Proven career progression with positions of increased responsibility
  • Proven success in a sales environment
  • Experience with managing budgets and delivering information from P&< statements and delivering strong results and growth through the management of financial resources
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Healthcare Administration required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
