Coordinator, Digital Marketing – The Recording Academy – Santa Monica, CA

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
The Recording Academy is looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to provide general support across the Recording Academy’s digital marketing efforts, including email communications, audience development and the GRAMMY.com digital ad network. They will help facilitate all facets of the marketing process across these channels, including managing a global calendar and schedule, securing buy-in from stakeholders across the company, production and reporting. They will also assist the broader Recording Academy Marketing & Innovation Department with any and all tent pole initiatives as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Oversee production, testing, and scheduling of the Recording Academy’s email marketing efforts, working cross-functionally across the company to maximize individual and collective effectiveness across this channel.
  • Lead planning and execution of ad (DFP) management for partnership and marketing across GRAMMY.com. Works cross-functionally with stakeholders in Partnerships, Membership, Advocacy and MusiCares to ensure key partner and brand messages are reading relevant audiences.
  • Track campaign data, identifying opportunities to update and improve the Academy’s owned, earned, and paid marketing across all digital channels.
  • A/B Test and QA email templates and ad designs, ensuring digital collateral adheres to the latest best practices.
  • Develop project plans for regional Chapter digital marketing efforts.
  • Continuously stay abreast of industry trends and opportunities to integrate into broader Academy marketing efforts.
  • Identify innovative methods of bringing the brand to life through cross-channel marketing across newsletters, advertising, social and content.
  • Provide regular recap reporting to stakeholders across the Academy.
  • Explore additional marketing opportunities for the Academy across new digital channels (i.e. texting)

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of general marketing experience.
  • Experience managing email marketing campaigns; Mailchimp experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Google Ad Manager preferred.
  • Understanding of digital marketing platforms and best practices; an eagerness to learn and stay on top of industry trends is critical to success.
  • Ability to project manage multiple initiatives at any given time.
  • A team player and problem solver who can operate in a fast-paced, ever-changing, team-oriented setting.
  • Willingness to partner with Social, Brand, and the broader Marketing department to deliver multi-channel campaigns across the Academy’s pillars.
