Summary
The Medical Insurance Biller, under the direct supervision of the Billing Manager, shall have responsibility for coordinating and processing patient and insurance billing paperwork necessary for the company to bill for services provided.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Essential Functions:
Files claims with Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance companies
Creates patient accounts in billing system to bill DME claims to payors and patients
Reviews medical documentation to bill correct payors and products
Creates and mails insurance claims
Resubmits claims to insurance companies or other third parties to secure payment
Other projects and duties as assigned

Education and Experience
