Bassett Creek Dental is in need of a part-time Infection Control Coordinator. The hours are Monday – Thursday 3:00 – close (8:45) and one (possibly two) Saturdays per month 7:30 – close (2:15). We are looking for someone who has a great work ethic, is friendly and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
This position is responsible for infection control efforts for the dental practice, ensuring CDC standards and guidelines are followed, maintaining instruments and equipment, sterilization of instruments and overseeing waste management activities. In addition, this position assists hygienists (and dental assistants) in cleaning their operatories and restocking supplies and may help with other requests to assist in preparation for patients. A major requirement of the job includes the ability to be on your feet for the entire shift.
This is an ideal position for a former assistant, students in dental assisting, hygiene or dentistry interested in gaining an understanding of dental office operations or someone who’s had some dental experience and wants to learn more. Dental experience is not required, although a background in healthcare is preferred and we are willing to train the right candidate.
