Janitorial – Environmental Services Technician – Healthcare

Positions available working in Environmental Services for a well established healthcare facility in Butte, Montana. Janitorial support in floor upkeep, public areas, Dining services, walkways, stairs and non patient occupied floors. Other tasks as assigned. Positions are temporary with option for long term depending on performance and availability of position. Most shifts are Monday through Friday. Temporary projects with option for long term with benefits depending on performance and position availability.

Responsibilities:
Working to maintain or exceed the quality control standards of major health facility. General janitorial in keeping bathrooms, hallways, public areas and Dining Services free of debris. Some floor maintenance and cleaning commercial carpeted areas.

Working hours: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
Basic computer, ability to read and follow instructions. Experience working with cleaning equipment and materials in a commercial setting. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, stoop, bend, climb stairs and lift up to 50 pounds. Demonstrated communication skills both written and verbal. Time management for making deadlines for assigned tasks. Ability to work with a team and complete projects working independently.

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Pre-employment: criminal background check, drug screen, current immunization status. Experience working in healthcare environment desired but training available. Three (3) work related references.
