Assistant Chief Engineer – Grand Geneva Resort – Lake Geneva, WI

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is currently seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to join our talented team! This role will be responsible to maintain all buildings, physical plant, all interior spaces, kitchen equipment and all pool vessels. They will also assist the Chief engineer with the supervision of a 20+ engineering staff; take the lead on all HVAC Preventative Maintenance and Repair & Maintenance & assume the functions of Chief Engineer in his absence.

Essential Functions:

• Obtain pricing and complete purchase orders
• Current EPA license for HVAC refrigerant handling required
• Organize renovation and restoration projects
• Assist with purchasing of engineering material and R&M supplies
• Assign preventative maintenance work as per schedule
• Personally follow up on all reported troubles
• Conduct on the job training of all personnel
• Assist Chief Engineer in capital plans and actions
• Maintain department personnel records
• Walk property on a regularly scheduled basis as to ensure quality
• Converse daily with all department heads as to ensure quality control and proper follow up on all projects
• Other duties as assigned by management

Position Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma and 3 years’ experience in the maintenance field, past people management of no fewer than five (5) employees. Some computer skills helpful.
