We’re a rapidly growing mid-sized company looking for a Credit Analyst who is a self-starter, enjoys a fast paced work environment that offers a wide scope of involvement in both the sales, customer service and finance areas as well as interaction with senior management.
Overview:
Primary job functions include minimize bad debt risk, maximize accounts receivable collections, assess credit risk and establish credit limits; assist with order management and apply customer’s payments as well as reconcile customer accounts/billings.
What you’ll do:
- Facilitate cash collections through regular customer contact, securitizing balances through notices of furnishings, payment agreements.
- Participate in establishing International accounts including payments, Letters of Credit
- Analyze customer’s financial condition and authorize customer credit lines
- Effectively secure prompt payment from customers while employing commercial sensitivity, business acumen, and good judgment
- Negotiate customer disputes to resolution and document root cause
- Develop relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers
- Back up the billing and collection on commercial construction projects
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent related job experience
- Previous credit and collection-related experience
- Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles
- Effective business writing and professional communication skills
- Demonstrated effective customer service skills
