Description: *

The Customer Service Advisor/Hood Technician (“CSA”) position is generally held by a very experienced Lube Technician with advanced customer service skills and management potential, and because there is a high degree of customer interaction in this position the role is considered an interim step between Lube Tech and Assistant Manager.
Generally, the CSA/Hood Tech supports the efforts of store management and may function as Assistant Manager in his/her absence for short periods of time. Therefore, this person may occasionally supervise employees, and may also function as a “Keyholder” and help open and/or close the store. This person will directly and regularly participate in customer service functions, particularly greeting customers, explaining all services and products, performing service reviews, selling services, checking out customers, and occasional open/close duties, in addition to assisting with all Lube Tech duties described below.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *

  • Interact in a friendly and professional manner with customers, co-workers and managers.
  • Complete work accurately and quickly while customers wait for their vehicles
  • Greet customers and perform service reviews, and understand and be able to explain all services & products.
  • Perform multi-point inspection on every vehicle and inform & advise of additional maintenance or repairs needed.
  • Inspect fluid levels of transmission, radiator, power steering and differential
  • Inspect all filters, belts, hoses, batteries, tires, and wiper blades
  • Perform certain of the services and repairs offered in our facilities.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, guidelines and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Highly performing Hood Technician with sales experience 1+ years
  • Friendly and professional attitude; high-energy, team-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Quick lube/express oil change experience 1+ years
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Auto repair experience and emissions certification beneficial
