Electrical Engineering Manager – Bitrode Corporation – St. Louis, MO

With customers around the world and the United States, Bitrode is looking for someone to help maintain our World-Class Cell, Module, and Pack Battery Testing Equipment. We offer an extensive product line of battery formation and laboratory test equipment, as well as software tools, battery simulation and manufacturing automation tools appropriate to all battery applications and chemistries.

In order to do this role, you will need to have experience with:

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 15 years of experience in electrical design
  • MEM/ MBA/ or proven skills in leading and managing others
  • Experience with power electronics, power management, or power storage is preferred
  • Experience in small to medium sized manufacturing companies
  • Experience with Autodesk Product Design Suite is a plus
  • Project Management experience is a plus

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Develops the project vision for current engineering projects and product updates
  • Assigns electrical engineering resources to various customer orders and engineering projects and works with the project coordinator and the rest of the engineering management team to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Acts as Bitrode’s electrical expert with customers and liaison for third party contractors
  • Works with Sales and Marketing to refine changing market needs and determine ways to meet those needs
  • Explores new technologies in the industry and determines the best way to incorporate them into Bitrode products
  • Develops SMART goals for each member of the electrical engineering team and works with them to help them reach those goals
  • Works with Supply Chain and Production to improve the buildability of Bitrode’s current products
  • Helps refine the current engineering processes to improve efficiency and quality
  • Gauges the current skillset of the electrical engineering team, identifies areas of improvement, and works to develop the skills of the team where necessary
  • Works well with the rest of the engineering management team to the benefit the whole engineering department
