CAD DETAILER – Lead
Brycon is now looking for an experienced, organized CAD Detailer to lead our group of CAD Detailers and BIM Scanners to join our growing construction team in Chandler AZ.

Position Overview
This position will work closely with our BIM team in conjunction with our active construction teams and utilize their CAD Detailing experience to compose and revise shop drawings as well as QAQC.

Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 5:00AM-3:30PM
Job Duties
- Use Building Information Modeling (BIM) to perform drawing work tasked.
- Produce isometric shop drawings as per BIM model.
- Monitor isometric shop drawing submission schedule.
- Use basic Revit MEP, AutoCAD, FabMEP tools such as the Project Browser, Properties, Type Selector, Conduit and Cable Tray, and inserting a verity of family types.
- Assist and mentor a small group of CAD detailers and scanners as needed per project needs.
- Report to the manager in charge and perform work task assigned.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- Employee may be required to work extended hours (more than 8 hours per day), weekends, and holidays. Employee will be compensated based on guidelines in the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Experience, Skillset, & Educational Requirements
- 2 – 3+ years of experience in CAD Detailing
- 1 year or more of lead experience preferred, but not required
- Bachelors or Associates degree in relevant field a preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to demonstrate a basic understanding of accurate drafting methods, layering, X-References, dimensioning, model space/paper space, viewports and scaling.
- Professional demeanor and time management skills.
- Detail-orientated team player with the ability to work in multiple projects while consistently producing quality results and meeting deadlines.
- Proficient with NavisWorks Manage for checking the model.
- Willingness to learn, have strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Capable of building trusting relationships; ability and willingness to work independently or in a team atmosphere.
- Proficient in reading construction drawings.
- Must successfully complete a 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screening.
