This post is based at the Chiangrai Prachanukroh Hospital, Chiangrai, of the Mahidol Oxford Research Unit (MORU). The Chiangrai site is currently involved in clinical research and public engagement activities. The applicant must be willing to participate in research projects of diverse nature. The projects are likely to be based both in Chiangrai city and in rural settings around Chiangrai.
Position: 1 Research Nurse
Full time post: Yes (Mon-Sat, 8:30-16:30)
Tasks
- Obtain and record research data in conjunction with the physician and other professionals on the research team.
- Assist in planning the nursing aspects of medical team research.
- Determine eligibility of potential study participants.
- Coordinate and evaluate the collection of research data.
- May direct of clerical, data entry or laboratory technician support staff.
- Follow up participants at home when they cannot come to hospital.
- Accounting.
- Related duties as required.
Essential qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree in Nursing Science
- 3 or more years’ experience in nursing
- Good knowledge of how to collect and record medical data for research purposes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience of working on medical research projects
