POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
The COVID-19 Hospital Entrance Screener is responsible for monitoring all incoming employees, contractors and guests at all screening stations to ensure each person is screened prior to entering University Health System facilities. The employee will be expected to perform specific duties that support patient care and a welcoming environment. The employee should have a full understanding of the process of screening and how to properly notify and direct all who do not meet the standards of entering the hospital due to COVID-19 restrictions.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma, its equivalent, or higher degree is required. Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Healthcare Provider card. Completion of recognized nurse aide training program with three months in clinical studies is preferred; or, can be a Medical Assistant graduate that has completed an externship within University Health System. Nurse aide certification with recent nurse attendant experience is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $35.50 – $40.50 per hour
