Full Time or Part Time Registered Nurses needed for busy private Hematology/Oncology practice. No Weekends or Evenings required. Minimum 1-year experience preferred. Will need to obtain ONS certification.
Duties include:
Assess (vital signs, labs, and any new issues) and access (IV, Port and PICC) patients. Learn the various medication and chemotherapy regimens. Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections. Educate the patients and families about treatments plans. Proficient in electronic charting (EMR). Schedule treatments and lab draws for patients. Maintain confidentiality in matters related to patients. Ability to clearly state patient needs to MD/PA. Prefer: Experience with chemotherapy closed system. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
