Charge Capture Specialist – Revenue Integrity – Baptist Southbank

Baptist Medical Center Southbank is currently hiring for a Full-time, Charge Capture Specialist to join our Revenue Integrity team at our Baptist Southbank Location here in the Jacksonville, FL area. This is a Full-time, Days Shift opportunity.

The Charge Capture Specialist resposibilities include:

• Responsible for reviewing clinical documentation to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant charge capture
• Follows department policies and procedures allowing for consistency and completeness of charge capture processes and appropriate reimbursement.
• May complete charge entry, clinical documentation, daily charges and diagnosis coding, validating rendering providers, and correcting charge related issues.
• Assisting the Charge Integrity team on a day to day basis with questions and solutions. The ability to work independently, problem solve and communicate effectively.
• Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with all internal and external customers and identify additional ways to be of service and ensure departmental/customer satisfaction.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma/GED

Associate’s Degree

• 1-2 years Hospital Experience Required
• 1-2 years Physician Office Experience Required
• Medical Coding Experience Preferred
• Medical Billing Experience Preferred
