General Laborer – Wind River Family & Community Health Care – Riverton, WY

Program: Wind River Family & Community Healthcare
Salary: Depending on Experience

Hours: Generally Monday-Friday, 40 Hour Work Week

Maintains and repairs the Wind River Family Cares facilities; oversees and evaluates the work of contractors; and performs a variety of tasks relative to the assigned area of responsibility

Cleaning and preparing a job site, loading and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines such as levels, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and lawn equipment.
Laborers set up and take down ladders, and temporary structures.
They may help carpenters and other specialized contractors.
Performing electrical, plumbing, carpentry, locksmithing and painting work to maintain municipal buildings.

Maintain and repair of HVAC systems; perform routine HVAC system preventative maintenance work; determine HVAC problems and make recommendations for repair

Move and relocate office furniture; make adjustments to desks, chairs and files
Roof maintenance, inspect condition of roof; clean roof gutters and drains

Repair locking systems on doors, files, cabinets and lockers
Travel from site to site; inspect facilities, buildings and grounds for routine maintenance

Load and deliver tables, chairs for special events
Maintain grounds, cut grass, keep grounds in good shape
Fill-in housekeeping duties
Performs other duties as assigned to maintain and enhance the operation of the program.

Along with physical strength, must have excellent hand-eye coordination, be able to move his/her hands quickly, and be able to grasp and assemble objects with 2 hands, along with any supporting certifications such as BLS and other necessary competencies (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, PALS, etc.).

The incumbent must maintain strict confidentiality and high ethical standards in performing the position. The incumbent needs to be respectful, possess cultural awareness and sensitivity, be flexible, and demonstrate sound work ethics.
