Abbe Center for Community Mental Health, is a subsidiary of AbbeHealth Services located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
We are seeking an Individual with good communication and organizational skills to Lead our clinical team in our Independence/Manchester offices. Candidate must enjoy building a team environment and have a desire to mentor other staff to grow professionally. Candidate must be enthusiastic about helping individuals of all ages who struggle with a mental health condition, to achieve recovery and wellness. Position would include 50% Administrative duties and 50% providing therapy.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates the Mission, Vision and Core Values of the Organization
- Works collaboratively with Leaders from across the AbbeHealth organization.
- Hires, trains, mentors, and supervises the performance of assigned staff.
- Provides clinical consultations to all staff for emergency or urgent needs.
- Participates in organizational Quality Improvement activities.
- Develops key relationships with community partners.
- Assist in the clinical implementation of Evidenced-Based Practice models of care.
- Provides direct services through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, person-centered or family-centered treatment planning, and treatment of clients.
- Provides continuity of care through collaboration with other treatment team members.
- Makes referrals based on screening protocols and assessed needs of clients.
- Completes documentation according to procedure manual.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field and professional licensure in Iowa. Independent level of licensure (LISW preferred) with previous supervisory/leadership experience. Must pass records and driving checks, pre-employment drug screen and have a valid Iowa driver’s license.
