Paralegal / Investigator – Romano Law Group – Delray Beach, FL

Romano Law Group is looking to hire a high energy self-motivated Plaintiff’s Personal Injury pre-suit investigator/paralegal. A law enforcement background is a plus.

The individual we hire needs to be a “people-person,” someone who will go the extra mile and make that special effort to locate a witness, meet in person with the witness, bond with the witness and obtain a statement or other information from the witness.

Here are some of the duties that we need the investigator to perform on an immediate basis in most of our cases:

(a) preserving the evidence; (b) communicating immediately with witnesses and police officers; (c) photographing and videoing the scene of an accident/injury, and/or the product, and/or the vehicles, etc.; (d) getting out high-quality and high-content spoliation letters; (e) working immediately with necessary experts where and when necessary; (f) communicating with law enforcement and fire rescue personnel; (g) locating missing witnesses and missing evidence; (h) and much more.

This position is for a true self starter and a consummate team player.

Under the supervision of an Attorney, you will be assigned to a full case load of pre-suit cases and will be expected to work and move each case from investigating the case, signing up the Client, ordering and following up on medical records requests, scheduling meetings, drafting demand letters and preparing for settlement. In the event that the case does not settle, you are responsible for ensuring that each Client file is neat, organized and ready to be transferred to the firm’s litigation department.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
