Material Handler/Bailer

With general supervision, is responsible for all material handling (either by hand, hand truck, and or electronic hand truck) in the production area.

**Hiring for 12 hour rotating schedule 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am must be able to work weekends

**Pay starts at $15/hour and is dependent on experience

Day to day responsibilities include

• Distributes the materials required for each set up.
• Transports all raw materials and finished goods in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collects, inspects, divides, and quarantines materials as needed prior to bailing and/or grinding materials.
• Properly labels and sorts bailed/grinded materials.
• Assists with machine set ups as needed.
• Assists with the inspection, packing, and box assembly as needed.
• Assists Quality with sampling programs as needed.
• Serves as a Packer/Inspector as needed.
• Provides and ensures preventive maintenance on bailers and grinders.
• Accurately scan boxed or bailed materials.
• Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area.

Extrusion Material Handler

You will be responsible for all material handling (either by hand, hand truck, and or electronic hand truck) in the extrusion area. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You will take pride in your personal hands-on and analytical abilities, organization skills, and attention to detail.

**Must be able to work 12 hour day shift 7am-7pm on a rotating schedule

**Pay starts at $15/hour and is dependent on experience

Day to day responsibilities include

• Transports all raw materials and finished goods in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collects, inspects, divides, and quarantines materials as needed.
• Properly labels raw materials and finished goods.
• Assists with machine set ups as needed.
• Assists with the inspection, packing, and box assembly as needed.
• Assists Quality with sampling programs as needed.
• Provides and ensures preventive maintenance on the equipment.
• Accurately scans raw materials from location to location.
• Accurately scans finished goods into inventory.
• Assist with maintaining inventory of consumables, roll cores, tape, bags, end caps.
• Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area.

This position is in our Medical Packaging Facility in beautiful Huntley, Illinois.

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• 1-year previous production line experience preferred
• Meticulous attention to detail
• 2 years set up operator experience
• One-year previous production line experience preferred
• Leadership experience in manufacturing environment required
