Shift Manager – Sandwich Maker

Jimmy John’s in Renton, WA is looking for another Shift Manager/Supervisor.
Previous Jimmy John’s experience is a big plus, but any quick-serve or full-service restaurant management will be a bonus.
- SIGNING BONUS! Continue employment for at least 90 Days and receive a $500 cash bonus upon being able to demonstrate Jimmy John’s skills and a menu knowledge test.
The position would involve supervising a small crew of employees on a schedule that would involve Closing shifts (2-9:30pm). Duties would also involve slicing deli-meats on a mechanical slicer, baking bread, assembling sandwiches for customers, and other customer service tasks as necessary for the shift. During closes, the manager will also assist in the closing down of the computer system at the end of the night and preparing the nightly deposit.
This is a great position if you are looking to further management skills and develop as a General Manager with your own store. Also a great schedule for Students or those with M-F daytime obligations. There is also potential for covering more shifts if you are looking for a more involved schedule.

Duties include:
- Proficiency as an In-Store sandwich maker (can be trained), with menu knowledge, sandwich construction, and customer service.
- Operating a mechanical slicer (Deli-style Slicer) to cut meats for sandwich preparation.
- Managing a crew of 2-4 employees.
- Cash-Handling and counting-down/closing Cash Drawers/POS system.
- Various cleaning duties associated with the job.
- Completing Management paperwork associated with shift-completion.
- Learning the process of thawing, proofing, stretching, and baking bread.
