The Registered Nurse is responsible to the Director, Women’s Health Unit to provide age appropriate and culturally sensitive care to newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Competency is evaluated based on the assessment of the nurse’s ability to utilize the nursing process as it applies to the care of Perinatal maternal and newborn nursing and basic medical-surgical and pediatric nursing, while effectively interacting with patients, significant others, and other health team members, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Licensure & Certifications: * Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of New Mexico or acceptable compact state RN licensure.
