PHLEBOTOMIST II – Aspirus – Wausau, WI

We are seeking a PHLEBOTOMIST II in Wausau, WI at Aspirus Family Physicians Clinic who performs laboratory procedures according to established and approved protocols that require the exercise of independent judgment and interpretation. These tests are performed under the direction of a Medical Technologist, section supervisor, or shift leader.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of laboratory standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma or equivalent with successful completion of phlebotomy training course or equivalent experience.

LICENSURE

  • Certification as a Phlebotomist by a national accrediting agency, i.e. ASCP, NCA, etc., or certification by a national accrediting agency in a related field whose training includes phlebotomy instruction and satisfies the requirements for certification as a Phlebotomist at the national level beneficial.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained within 60 days of hire.

Hours: .6 part-time, 48 hours every 2 weeks. Monday – Friday 7am – 12pm
