TITLE: HR Generalist, Americares Free Clinics

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

REPORTS TO: Associate Director, Global HR

JOB STATUS: Part-time (20 hrs/week)

LOCATION: Hybrid (the position will have a mix of remote and in-person work in our four locations: Danbury, Stamford, Norwalk, and Bridgeport, CT)

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced HR professional who will join our team to support the full HR life cycle for staff in our Connecticut clinics.

The position’s responsibilities include:
-Providing support and information to clinic staff for various HR related topics (benefits, compensation, conflicts, schedules, leave, etc.)
-Developing relationships and collaborating with health associations, universities, and other resources for generating a qualified pool of candidates
-Full cycle recruitment of bilingual health professionals and administrative staff
-Coordinating with each clinic´s leadership team to oversee effective and compassionate HR services for clinic staff
-Administrative HR tasks (collecting timesheets, creating forms, updating and maintaining HR files, org chart, staff manuals, etc.)
-Onboarding and off-boarding in the clinics
-Implementing activities that promote staff well-being, professional growth and inclusion
-Aligning clinic policies and procedures to those of the overall organization while also integrating site specific needs and practices
-Facilitating clinic staff performance evaluations and professional growth plans
-Collaborating with the overall HR team to accomplish the organization´s people strategic objectives
-Keeping up to date on HR best practices

QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of full cycle recruitment experience, preferably with health professionals (medical and non-medical)
Works effectively as a part of a team as well as independently
Thrives in work environments that require multi-tasking and flexibility
Excellent judgment and the highest degree of confidentiality and integrity
Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office 365, ZOOM, and related technology
Proactive and solution-oriented
Assertive and professional communication skills
Passion for our mission and services
Demonstrated commitment to workplace diversity, equity and inclusion
Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
Reliable transportation and an active driver´s license – will need to travel to the four clinics throughout every month
