Viera East Veterinary Center is seeking a F/T Kennel Technician to join our busy 4-doctor practice.
The successful candidate will share our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients and the highest quality care to their boarded pets.
Applicant must be reliable, energetic and self-motivated individual. Experienced with animal restraint and have basic understanding of animal behavior, as well as some veterinary medical terminology.
Must have strong attention-to-detail, be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, and enjoy interacting with clients.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: feeding, medicating, and caring for dogs, cats and other animals, supervising dogs during the playtime, walking dogs, bathing dogs, cleaning cages, laundry, cleaning and maintaining hospital premises, assisting doctors and technicians when necessary.
Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
The schedule will include weekends and some holidays – up to 35-40 hours/week. This position can include additional hours and an opportunity for growth.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $9.50 – $11.00 per hour

All unvaccinated staff is required to wear a mask during shift. We are seeing appointments via curbside and in person. One client allowed in with pets seeing the doctor.
