Overview
JFD Tube & Coil Products, Inc is a custom manufacturer of shell & tube heat exchangers for HVAC, oil & refinery, chemical, and pulp & paper industries. The successful candidate will be assembling and testing metallic assemblies in accordance with blueprints / sketches as well as other general labor duties.
Responsibilities:
1. Cut components from stock materials for sub-assemblies
2. Assemble & test metallic components & assemblies in accordance with a drawing
3. Operate handheld tools and other equipment a regular part of work
4. Keep work area neat, clean, and organized
5. Assist and help train other assemblers as needed
Skills & Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for 8 hours
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to communicate and be trained effectively in English a must
Excellent attitude and attendance a must
Sense of urgency
Education & Experience:
1. High School Diploma or GED required
2. Experience in assembling and/or working on production line is desirable
3. Must be able to read and understand a drawing in English
Salary & Benefits:
Hourly wage to be determined $13-$15/hr DOE. Benefits include (after probationary period) paid vacation & paid holidays, Bonus, 401(k) with matching, profit sharing, medical, dental, life insurance.
