Required Experience:
The duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assists nursing personnel in the administration for total patient care and serve as Charge Nurse or Medication Nurse for a nursing unit as assigned, if needed; Report interpersonal problems to Nurse Manager, ADON and DON as necessary
Serve as Nursing Supervisor for the facility; Provides support to nursing staff throughout the facility; Assess patients as needed and contact Physician, as indicated
Provide direction and guidance in the proper use, care and control of material resources; Appraises quality and effectiveness of materials, equipment and reports results to supervisory personnel and maintain standards of cleanliness in assigned areas
Participates in problem solving affecting the care of patients with complex needs by assisting in the development of individualized patient care plans; Assess progress made toward objective goals and document appropriately; Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures design to affect the efficiency of nursing care
Responds to emergency situations by initiating emergency procedures and documenting proper records of emergency care provided
Perform all other related duties/tasks as assigned
