With this growth brings us the opportunity to expand our solar department and add a Electrical Journeyman/Trainer to our team.
Electrical Journeyman/Trainer Job Duties:
This position is an opportunity to move from working with your hands all day to primarily training and educating solar installers within the department. This is a great opportunity if you are ready for this type of transition. Installing solar systems on new residential homes and some commercial properties are the primary duties for the solar department. This process includes, but not limited to:
- Install roof attachments
- Build racking system for solar panels
- Install solar panels
- Install rough electrical for solar system
- Install solar trim
- Turn on, test and commission solar system
Qualifications:
- Must be a Certified Electrician
- Experience in residential or commercial solar/electrical projects is a must
- Familiarization and knowledge of NEC and OSHA requirements
- Valid driver license and clean DMV record
- Professional and dependable
