It is truly our people that make the difference. Due to company growth, we are seeking an experienced Director of Technical Solutions.
Position Summary / Responsibilities:
This position will report to the Director of Technical Solutions. This position will Promote Smart Construction / 3D Machine Control Systems directly and indirectly with the Territory Managers as needed through sales, rentals, demos, field visits and office visits.Maintain a positive working relationship with our GPS Manufacturers and Suppliers while adhering to dealer agreements. Develop and maintain complete working knowledge of Smart Construction / 3D Machine Control technologies and the related equipment. Provide training to customers and employees.Remain current with competitors’ technologies as well as industry technologies to aid in selling of our features and design. Be fluent in cost savings of this technology.Work with customers to identify and solve technical problems and provide technical assistance to as needed, assists in making job estimates, keeps customer up to date on new developments.Maintains record of calls, make reports as required, works according to plan, follows up on all leads, contract lettings and inquiries; controls travel, telephone and entertainment expenses.Maintains required communications; advises superiors of all changes in his territory which can affect company success; cooperates with other company personnel.Maintains a high degree of sales professionalism through study and attendance at meetings and association activities where improvement programs are offered.Perform other duties assigned Management.
Experience and Education:
- AAS in Civil Engineering Technology, Land Surveying Technology, or related work experience
- Experience with machine control technology preferred
- Sales experience preffered
- A valid drivers license
