Maintenance Technician – Warehouse Services, Inc. – Liberty, SC

Warehouse Services, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technicians in Liberty, SC. Under the appropriate supervision with latitude for independent judgment, the maintenance apprentice performs preventative maintenance and equipment repairs to ensure the safe operation of mobile equipment. Implements, coordinates and assists in the application of procedures pertaining to general maintenance. Duties may require manual, clerical and data entry skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Routine, Preventative and Emergency maintenance for manufacturing equipment

· Implements a preventive and routine maintenance program on all equipment.

· Prepares and maintains all logs, charts and other required documents for each piece of equipment.

· Operates all material handling equipment required.

· Repairs equipment as required.

· Perform building and equipment audits

· Coordinate and track preventative maintenance

· Initiate and schedule repairs

· Perform repairs on equipment

· Develop and implement continuous improvements

· Maintain and track supplies

· Any other duties assigned by the Site Manager

Shift: Rotating 12 hour nights

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Previous manufacturing maintenance experience

· Minimum 2 year degree in maintenance technology

· Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills

· Forklift certified or able to obtain certification

· Must be able to lift 55 lbs.

Final candidates must possess a solid work history, pass pre-employment background and post offer drug screen/physical.
