New Summit Behavioral Therapy is hiring experienced and enthusiastic Behavior Therapists to provide one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in the home setting. Behavior Therapists are responsible for implementing Behavior Intervention Plans and skill acquisition goals designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We are currently hiring for full-time and part-time positions within the Bend, Oregon area. This job is not anticipated to start until August 2021.
Responsibilities:
– provide quality 1:1 instruction to children with ASD in communication, social, play, and adaptive skills
– record objective daily data to reflect client progress toward goals
– maintain objective daily session notes
– maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required
– 1 year experience with applied behavior analysis (ABA) required
– Availability to work 8:30-6PM Monday-Thursday for Full-Time Employees
– Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
– Oregon state licensure for Behavior Analyst Interventionist strongly preferred and required prior to start date
– Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification strongly preferred
– Must be able to lift 50lbs and sit on the floor for extended periods of time
– Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
