You will be responsible for editing and fact-checking imre Health content and working collaboratively with integrated teams to ensure MLR submissions and corresponding assets are prepared accurately, flawlessly, and efficiently.


PRINCIPAL
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Participates in content review process throughout all stages of the project
  • Fact checks imre Health content for medical accuracy including data presentation, disease-state information, indications, FDA regulations, safety
  • Serves as a resource to Creative by checking references against copy/claims, and proofreading assets for referencing accuracy
  • Provides critical medical references to support copy and interprets reference needs stemming from MLR feedback
  • Helps to train teams on AMA style referencing
  • Ensure all pieces are compliant with each client’s unique medical/regulatory/legal requirements and that creative imagery is appropriate for the content
  • Able to work across multiple different client referencing guidelines
  • Develops and manages a reference database with Copy teams for each brand in the imre Health portfolio and provides downloads on FDA guidance


KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Works well within a team setting and can manage multiple projects with multiple stakeholders
  • 2-5+ years serving as a medical editor in a healthcare agency setting
  • Thorough knowledge of AMA style and familiarity with AP style
  • Experience with medical/regulatory/legal reviews; familiarity with FDA requirements for drug promotion
  • Able to digest complex scientific topics for general audiences
  • Proficient using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Able to work across a range of clients, therapeutic areas, and brands to meet tight deadlines
  • Extremely detail-oriented, thorough and accurate
  • Nice to have: Advanced life sciences degree; MD, PhD, PharmD, preferably with oncology experience
