Seeking a motivated, enthusiastic medical assistant to work as a clinical coordinator of a program in a treating skin cancer with superficial electron therapy within a dermatology practice.
This clinical coordinator position involves greeting and rooming patients, assisting the treatment team in collecting co-payments and capturing billing codes, focused medical history taking, and assisting physicians with electronic documentation.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are essential. Working knowledge of eClinicalWorks EMR software is highly desirable. Applicants with two or more years of experience are preferred. Additional role-specific training will be provided upon hiring. Opportunities for advancement exist.
Required qualifications:
1) High school diploma or GED equivalent
2) Active Certified Medical Assistant designation by the AAMA
3) Willingness to undergo background check and screening test for drug and nicotine use
