The Orchards is currently seeking a full time LPN to join our team. We are offering a $2500.00 sign on bonus (speak with community for details). Our community serves 61 residents in a homelike atmosphere. We also offer specialized high acuity care to 12 of the 61 residents living in our community. The 12 individuals is the focus of the LPN position.
LPN Responsibilities include:
Administer nursing care to residents
Establish and implementing treatment plans
Monitor symptoms or behaviors in residents
Communicate with collaborating physicians or Home Health/Hospice
Educate residents and staff about health maintenance and disease prevention
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Maintain accurate resident records
Provide advice and support to residents and their families
Qualifications:
Previous experience in long term care preferred
Familiarity with medical software and equipment
Ability to build rapport with residents
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
