HR Assistant – Iannarino Fullen Group – Phoenix, AZ

Location: Downtown Phoenix

Hours: M-F, 8-5 PM

Pay rate: $18/hr

IANNARINO FULLEN GROUP is seeking a dynamic recruiter with experience in human resources for a leading construction clean-up and maintenance service company in downtown Phoenix, AZ.

For over 37 years, our customer has specialized in full service cleaning services for all of Arizona. The Recruiter/HR Assistant will work closely with all levels of staff and have recent recruiting and human resources experience, preferably in the light industrial industry. Our client offers a close-knit family style environment with benefits such as optional healthcare, dental and vision, annual bonuses, paid time off and profit sharing (upon hire.) This position is a temporary-to-hire position.

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ascertain recruitment requirements by evaluating organizational development plans
  • Confer with management to identify recruiting needs
  • Develop effective recruiting plans and strategies
  • Assess assigned positions to develop job descriptions and job candidate profiles
  • Review and clarify job specifications, competencies and skills required
  • Align job candidate profiles with staffing objectives
  • Source applicants through various methods including advertising, recruiters, job sites, career fairs, online platforms
  • Maintain effective relationships with social and professional networks to source qualified candidates
  • Organize and execute college recruitment programs
  • Pre-screen job candidates
  • Review resumes and qualifications to determine suitability of candidates
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews cooperatively with hiring managers
  • Inform candidates fully about the job and company
  • Brief and debrief candidates before and after interviews
  • Verify references
  • Conduct background checks
  • Facilitate pre-employment testing
  • Manage all communication with candidates
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to managers
  • Manage applicant tracking system and make recommendations for innovative recruiting technology (if necessary)
  • Maintain accurate and current applicant database
  • Extend offers of employment within company procedures
  • Manage the job offer including negotiation and administration
  • Organize new employee orientation
  • Work closely with management to develop appropriate policies training and execute such training with new hires and on a continuous bases with tenured employees
  • Process on-boarding paperwork, to include e-Verify
  • Assist in pay scale and job description research and development for workforce
  • Maintain recruiting metrics (cost per hire etc)
  • Keep current with sourcing strategies and industry trends
  • Ensure regulatory aspects of the full cycle recruitment process is compliant with federal and state legislation
  • Acts as HR in conjunction with management to process reviews, disciplinary write-ups, enforce company policies, etc.
  • Process terminations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
