Job Title: GIKC Member & Volunteer Experience VISTA– United Way of the Piedmont

The AmeriCorps VISTAs in the Piedmont (VIP) program offers a unique approach to AmeriCorps VISTA service, as you will spend 10% of your time each week working collaboratively with 19 other AmeriCorps VISTA members placed in the community to research and implement community-wide solutions focusing on either increasing access to behavioral healthcare or increasing financial stability. Member Duties : As the Member & Volunteer Experience VISTA, you will develop and improve processes and procedures to communicate with member agencies and partners. You will expand the current volunteer corps that operates the facility and establish a volunteer leadership corps to provide day-to-day leadership and training to new or temporary volunteers. You will also document departmental processes and procedures to ensure sustainability.
