Regional Account Executive – PartRunner – Hartford, CT

What we do:

PartRunner is a New England-based Startup that is revolutionizing how logistics are done for businesses. We are called the “Uber for construction materials” and focus primarily in the Trades, Construction, industries but we also work with Auto and Healthcare distributors.

We are a B2B last-mile service and leverage a network of independent drivers that have all types of vehicles; from cars, to cargo vans, pickup trucks, and 24ft box trucks. We own no vehicles! Our platform allows companies to connect to hundreds of qualified independent truckers via our web, mobile, and api integrations.

We are disrupting how last-mile logistics are done in the industry.


Position overview:

As our Regional Account Executive you will be the face of the company and help introduce our solution to the New England Market. You will have access to all areas of the business and work closely with all of our team members.

We are looking for a flexible, customer-drive person, who likes challenges, has knowledge in the space and is hungry for sales. We want an individual that finds passion and purpose with the vision of the company and wants to grow with us as we expand into the Northeast and across the US!

Your day-to-day work will be to oversee existing customer accounts by visiting customer locations (suppliers) daily as well as going after new sales.

Industry knowledge in the Construction, Trades, Wholesale distribution space is a plus!


Responsibilities:

  • Using different sales methods, reach potential customers and guide them through our sales funnel to our account management process. (Use of CRM consistently)
  • Understand customers needs and value add of PartRunner
  • Meet or Exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
  • Work alongside the operations team when onboarding new customers
  • Work alongside the customer success team for any additional support
  • Oversee existing accounts, build relationship’s, and upsell services.
  • Attend weekly sales and account management meetings as well as monthly company meetings.
  • On job training will be provided on: HubSpot CRM, Google Drive, Slack, and PartRunner software.
  • This position is 90% in field & 10% in office

Qualifications:

  • 2 years minimum of Sales Experience (in field sales for B2B, Medium to Large businesses)
  • Industry Background in the Trades/Construction space or Wholesale
  • Entrepreneurial minded and self-driven
  • Be able to work independently and resourceful
  • Show some track record of previous successes and failures
  • Hungry and eager to grow
  • Team player
  • Requires a vehicle


Compensation:

  • OTE: $70,000-$80,000
    • Base Salary
    • Commissions
